Love & Beauty Frosty Periwinkle

First off I just want to say that this color is freakin' gorgeous! It is metallic and like the color name, it is frosty.This was 3 coats. The brush was easy to handle and made application easier. The only thing that sucked is the fact that it is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY STREAKY.  Thanks for reading!

Essie Scarlett O'hara & Essie Mademosille

2 Coats

Scarlett O'hara is a shimmery red polish that shines beautifully under the sunlight. This is only TWO coats which is great because a great majority of Essie polishes need THREE coats for the nail to be completely opaque. I love this more on my toes than on my nails. The summer sun gives these toe nails an amazing glow.

Lastly, I painted my nails Mademosille. It is a sheer pink which is perfect for french manicures.

Latest Manicure

Today I was extremely tired of my Blue Gradient nails so I tried a French Manicure. Instead of doing the white tips, I used a sheer pink nail polish for the tips and glitter on just the tips as well. I used Confetti Heartthrob and NYX girls Dynamic Glitter.

Out The Door Top Coat

I have used Poshe & Seche Top Coat. Seche shrinks and peels my nail polish off in 3 days. Poshe is expensive but worth using. It does not shrink or peel off. Poshe keeps nails shiny for at least a week and a half. This my review of OTD.

Pros: Thin formula ( which makes it easier to apply )
         cheap (only $5)
         lasts at least a week
Cons: Not as shiny as Poshe or Seche
         Brush is short
         Label covers the bottle which makes it hard to see how much is left
         Thickens halfway through the bottle (but then again every nail polish does that)

Gradient Nails

This tutorial helped me to make my own gradient nails. The product I used was Confetti Blue Bombshell 067, NYX Girls Dynamic Glitter 153, and Out the Door top coat. Confetti Blue Bombshell is a sheer nail polish, so using this was a success. I painted my nails with one coat, then another coat a centimeter below the cuticle, then I painted another coat on my tips. After letting the nail polish dry, I used NYX dynamic glitter mostly on my tips. Lastly, I sealed my nails with Out The Door Top Coat.

Forever 21 Nail Polish Remover Pads (Scented)

One thin sheet

Recently, I bought Forever's Nail Polish Remover Pads. I am sick of the acetone smell in nail polish remover, so I bought Forever's scented nail polish remover. Here are the Pros & Cons to this product:

Pros: easy to remove nail polish ONLY if the nail polish is sheer
no acetone (either strawberry or grape)
one sheet is enough to remove nail polish on all ten fingers

Cons: oily, so be sure to wash your hands after using this product
hard to remove nail polish if there is 3+ coats

This product is amazing for me, so if you ever stop by Forever 21... be sure to buy one!
